Six Sigma Services and Classes
IPS offers Six Sigma training for service organizations of all types - private, government, or not-for-profit; big and small; new and established.
Over the years, many organizations have implemented some sort of quality improvement program. It may be called QA, QI, CQM, or TQM. But in most organizations, these efforts have not had a very good track record for demonstrating some sort of operational or financial return on investment. Many of these programs seem more like a 'quality police' program designed to find fault and badger and 'remediate' employees into do better (or do a better job of hiding things that might trigger negative feedback). The roles, responsibilities and training for different aspects of these efforts have been vague. There has been little accountability for measurable benefit.
Six Sigma, in essence, provides a strategic framework; implementation process; and a set of education programs to help ensure that projects align with organizational priorities - and have a measurable return on your investment of time, resources and funding.
IPS offers Six Sigma training for all levels of your organization.
- Six Sigma Executive Course - To help senior managers decide if Six Sigma is something they want to implement in their organization.
- Six Sigma Champion Course - Training for senior managers on how to implement and manage a Six Sigma strategy
- Six Sigma While Belt Course - A brief overview of Six Sigma for the entire workforce
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt Course - A two day workshop for those who will serve on Six Sigma process improvement teams. It covers basic tools and techniques.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Course - An intensive three day course, taken after Yellow Belt training, that expands the tools and techniques used. It includes the use of 'power tools' with Six Sigma oriented statistical software packages.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Course - A set of educational experiences that include live workshops, online classes, email discussion group activities, and completion of a full Six Sigma project. Intended for those who will train, manager and mentor Six Sigma project teams, Green Belts and Yellow Belts and take operational responsibility for Six Sigma programs within their organizations. This program typically takes place over several months.
In addition to training, IPS offers support services to help service organizations of all types successfully implement their Six Sigma strategies and coach the organization over the long term for improve their continued success and higher returns on investment. These services are usually provided on a consulting subscription basis with a specified amount for remote and/or on-site support time each monthly as a predictable cost that yields a high return on investment.
