and Development Project - Region of Peel
IPS (under the name 'HealthAnalytics') was selected through a competitive bid process by the Region of Peel (headquartered in the City of Brampton, Ontario, Canada) to assist in a capital planning and development project for its paramedic services. The project involved conducting a detailed demand and response analysis. The study lead to the developed of a unique hybrid deployment plan designed to meet future needs. It also involved the creation of a long term resource plan that outlines the projected number of personnel, vehicles and other capital resources needed for the next 25 years of operations.
For this project, IPS collaborated with one of its strategic partners, the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona - leveraging its strengths in operations analysis and mathematical modeling.
