Todd Hatley, Chief Executive Officer
Prior to his role as CEO for IPS, Todd was the Chief Operating Officer of HealthAnalytics; served at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Prehospital Medical Information System (PreMIS). His background includes clinical practice in rural, urban and air medical environments as well as healthcare training, performance improvement and administrative positions. His formal education includes an Associates degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and dual Masters degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration. He is a Certified Quality Manager with the American Society for Quality. He was trained as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt under Blanton Godfrey – one of the co-founders of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and former CEO of the Juran Institute.
Todd is involved in numerous national projects and organizations including membership in the North Carolina Industrial and Organizational Psychology Association, the American Society for Quality, Past-President of the National EMS Management Association, member of the National EMS Information Systems Taskforce and is a faculty member for the NHTSA EMS Quality Management Initiative.
