About IPS
IPS is, at its core, is a system and process design firm. We help service organizations become more effective and efficient through improving their systems and process designs. We also provide associated education, consulting and support services. Our principals have taught thousands of managers from all over the world through our workshops and lectures at conferences across North and South America. Our organizational history goes back to 1992 and is currently incorporated in North Carolina as Integral Performance Solutions, LLC.
IPS' principals, Todd Hatley and Mic Gunderson, work with an ad hoc network of topic experts to assemble teams suited to the needs of each project. IPS also has a network of strategic partners and allied suppliers to help craft effective and efficient solutions.
But enough about IPS - let's talk about you and your organization. You want your organization to be one that...
- has exemplary levels of quality and performance
- unleashes the passion and creativity of everyone that works there
- attracts the best talent
- others look to for ideas and inspiration
- shapes the standards that others follow
- is beloved by its customers and stakeholders
- and as a consequence of all these things, has excellent financial performance - regardless if your organization is private or governmental; for or not for profit; volunteer or career; urban or rural; new or established.
You know that significant changes need to be made in how your organization works in order to become what you know it could be. Your challenge is figuring out how to get the organization on the right path and making progress at a faster pace.
We want to work with organizations to put systems and processes in place that create an environment where performance excellence can take root, evolve and thrive. We believe that most of the significant correctable problems facing organizations are, ultimately, consequences of flaws in system and process design. Therefore, we have focused our efforts on the design, evaluation, and improvement of systems and processes as the primary strategy for simultaneously improving quality while reducing costs.
Our company name reflects a key component of our philosophy on organizational performance improvement - the Integral Model, which is described in more detail on the Integral Model page.
