IPS was created from an effort to split out the management and performance improvement related services that were previously offered by HealthAnalytics,LLC - where IPS CEO Todd Hatley served as COO and IPS President Mic Gunderson served as President. The Institute for Prehospital Medicine, which Mic Gunderson founded in 1992, merged into HealthAnalytics in 2000.The project history of HealthAnalytics and the Institute for Prehospital Medicine offers further insights into IPS' capabilities and background.
