Kelly Curry
Former Chief Operating Officer at MCHD, Kelly Curry has exceptionally broad-based experience and credentials in the health care industry. His clinical background encompasses the fields of indigent care oversight, intensive care nursing, laboratory and surgical services as well as emergency medical services. Kelly’s administrative skills include supervision and management of 200+ employees, project and quality management, management of information systems, strategic planning and local government administration.
His knowledge and experience in leading organizations to design strategies that build efficient and effective service including the use of cutting edge technology to both internal and external customers is well known in the industry. A history of successes with other leading organizations such as Hermann Life Flight, San Jacinto College, University of Texas HSC, Cypress Creek EMS,and Covenant Health System have resulted in strategic growth with bottom-line results. Today he uses his abilities and serves as a consultant, program developer, and educator with the IPS team.
Kelly has served on various boards and associations lending his expertise and guidance. These include service work in his church, for the American Heart Association,and the Texas Association for Quality Healthcare. He served several terms on the Governor’s Advisory Council for Trauma and EMS. He is immediate Past-President of the Texas Indigent Health Care Association.
