Six Sigma EMS Black Belt Program

Six Sigma Black Belts can play an important role in your organization’s Six Sigma implementation strategy. As Black Belts, individuals can serve as team members, subject matter experts, analytic experts and leaders in the problem solving process. Building on their prior Green Belt knowledge Black Belts learn how to use advanced analytics methods that will bring added value to the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) process. In addition Black Belt participants will be introduced to new facilitation and team tools that can improve their ability to facilitate group problem solving.

The Black Belt training program uses a blended learning strategy of live workshops, online learning, and experiential learning with completion of a process improvement project. Specifically, participants will be engaged in:

Course Legnth

Completion of didactic sessions (live sessions and all on-line sessions) will typically take 4 months. The time needed to complete the process improvement project is up to the schedule and pace of the participant.
